How are the international Allrecipes sites different from the US site?
Allrecipes offers 3 international sites packed with authentic recipes from local home cooks–Allrecipes Australia and New Zealand, Allrecipes Quebec in French, and Allrecipes UK and Ireland.
Our international sites contain many helpful features such as recipe videos to provide insights into local food culture, local ingredients, preparation techniques, and much more. The international sites also include rich collections of global recipes using content that’s shared and localized across the international sites. For example, a recipe for Mustard and Chive Sausage Rolls from the UK and Ireland site was translated from its original version into French for home cooks in Quebec and localized for home cooks in Australia and New Zealand.
How can I visit an Allrecipes international site?
On any of our sites, look for the Global Community drop-down menu at the footer of each page and select from one of the available country options.
Can I use my US account on any of the international sites?
You'll need a separate profile for each international site. Just like it is on Allrecipes.com, membership to all international Allrecipes sites is free–you can save recipes, add your own recipes, reviews, and photos, as well as receive newsletters and notifications.
Which scaling system is used on the international sites?
The Canadian/Quebec site uses the same scaling system as the US, while the other international sites use Metric measurements and/or Celsius temperatures. To help with ingredient conversions, visit our Recipe Conversion Basics page.
