Overview:
In the coming weeks, all Allrecipes accounts that do not have a profile page associated with them will be granted one. You can see if this change impacts you simply by navigating to My Profile and observing if there is a View Profile button present as shown below. If there is not a View Profile button then you are impacted.
Why is this important?
For two reasons:
- Within the coming days, the Allrecipes Personal Recipes tab will be removed and Personal recipes will only be accessible through the View Profile button.
- Other Allrecipes community members will be able to visit your profile.
If you are impacted by this change, you can either wait for us to update your profile or you can activate it on your own by following the steps below:
- Navigate to the My Profile page.
- Select Profile Settings. On the Profile Settings screen, uncheck the “Opt out of having a profile box” and press the Save Changes button.
